New improved 8-wire motors allow for the use of the more powerful ProboStep motor drivers and higher voltage power supplies. Lower inductance uni-polar configuration and higher voltage power supplies translate to faster top speeds.
This kit works really well with you Seig X1 and X2 milling machine conversions. A single 400ozin motor has the needed power to lift the head of your z-axis, and low inductance 280ozin motors give the best performance on the X- & Y-Axis. |
