I am considering incorporating a halo LED light into the upper half of the dust boot. Can anyone tell me where I can tap a 12 volt power source in the controller or somewhere between it and the spindle?

Seems I have an issue with a bearing. There are a pair of scatches/grooves in the top Xaxis rail.. Any experience in removing linear bearings? How much do I need to dissamble to get to these bearings? I have been good about cleaning and lubricating the Meteor, must be a bearing failure... https://go...

Tightening the coupler, and reducing the plunge rate from 30 in/min to 15 in/min have made things right again ...

Good suggestions, I did find the coupler would take about 1/8 turn tightening.. I released both set screws and retightened. I am going to reduce plunge speed also. First have to stop by and get some cheap material to test those adjustments
