I need a super stable Z depth of cut for acrylic milling. besides adding another cross joint of extruded aluminum, what would be the best material to use as a non-swelling spoil board (as in, not MDF)?

Hey Ron

I've never cut any metal on my V90, except copper clad.

I would be afraid to try it with anything other than extremely thin material, but others may differ from experience. Sorry that I couldn't help more.

This whole G28 and G30 stuff is fascinating to me. I'm using Mach3 right now and unfortunately, I've never set up any limit switches (didn't really need them till now) but I can see it's worth the hassle of installing and setting them up to get this fixture feature going.

SWL, That is a funny (but also sad) story. Once when I worked for Sherwin Williams' Paint, I had to mix a large 5 gallon drum of paint in the shaker back in the warehouse. After placing the bucket in the fixture, closing the door, and hitting "Start", I walked away and back up to the sales...
