Re: Photo V Carve

I purchased V Carve Pro 8.0 and Photo V Carve at the same time (bundle deal). My V Carve works great but I don't have the same choices for post processors in Photo V Carve.

Photo V Carve

Going to try Photo V Carve for the first time since I bought my machine. What Post Processor should I pick? I see that my V Carve Pro is "LinuxCNC (inch)(*.ngc) but I see nothing like that in my Photo V Carve post processor choices.

Re: Reviewing toolpath settings?

Got it!! FYI if you are interested and didn't know how. Right click on the toolpath in question and select "Edit". Gives you the parameters you set it at. Just when you think they forgot to do something in Vetrics software they "wow" me again.

Re: When can I buy cutter ready or does someone have want to share?

Reviewing toolpath settings?

I am using V Varve Pro8. Is there a way of reviewing what you had a toolpath set at? I made two sample projects with two different offsets. I went to dinner, came back to work and can't remeber what I set them at.

Re: When can I buy cutter ready or does someone have want to share?

It's the PITA again. I tried the puzzle piece and holy crap they are 100% laser accurate. So accurate when I fit pieces together they leave the slightest of lines and are a bugger to get back apart. Is there a trick/tip on using the existing file and giving it a little "wiggle room" for ea...

Re: When can I buy cutter ready or does someone have want to share?

Not sure who the file came from, Pete or Hemicro. Which ever or both if it was a joint project, THANK YOU! That is the exact shape I was after and I was able to resize to 12" x 12" with no problem. Can't wait till tomorrow to try and cut this. If it wasn't for being 11pm and my neighbors h...

Re: Another student project belt buckle 8

No problem with the board warping or twisting in the oven at that temp and time? Pretty cool idea, don't know where I can go with it but I'm curious.

Re: When can I buy cutter ready or does someone have want to share?

If you could share dfx I would greatly appreciate it. Never opened a dfx so it will be a learning experience for that also. Tried vectoring jpeg, and .png in V Carve and Inkscape with less than desirable results.

Re: When can I buy cutter ready or does someone have want to share?

Can I resize it? I believe the Mrs. wants it to be approx. 12" x 12".
