I have a nebula and use vectric products. Vectric was the easiest for me to start with since I have no CAD experience. Still have a lot to learn. It can be very overwhelming. I researched for a few years on and off before buying. If you end of buying let me know. I can help you set up and get starte...

Can you explain more about the wood sheen process for the dark areas? do you apply and wipe off the letters?

I have had both of the routers your mentions. Both are great but I prefer the bosch. The extra power and ability to use up to 1/2" bits is great. The bosch is what I am using now on my nebula.

Try compression bits. The are a combination of down and up cut. Work great for plywood to minimize tear out
