Hello from Southwest Virginia

Postby Reedym » Mon Aug 24, 2015 2:29 pm

I have run cnc shops. They have included everything from machining centers and turning centers, to waterjets. Most recently I taught robotics and mechatronics at a governor's STEM Academy and also CNC programming at the local community college. I have designed and built various cnc and computer controlled machinery. Although I'm currently disabled and not teaching I enjoy reading the exploits of this user group as they learn and create new ways of doing things.

Greetings and welcome to the group!

Are you still doing CNC machining as a hobby? If so keep an eye out on our contest thread we will be giving away a free Comet starting this month through fall. And what a beautiful fall you have in Virginia, our facility is in Peoria IL so we get maybe 3 days of fall weather then it's 5 months of dreadful winter weather. But it's the time of year people like to tinker in the garage with CNC so not so bad.

Thanks for joining!
