I'm from Independence, MO

Good to see someone close, I am seriously looking into the Comet. What machine do you have and what software are you using.
Seems kind of overwhelming...

I have a nebula and use vectric products. Vectric was the easiest for me to start with since I have no CAD experience. Still have a lot to learn. It can be very overwhelming. I researched for a few years on and off before buying. If you end of buying let me know. I can help you set up and get started if you're interested.

Warrensburg, MO is not that far from Independence or from Oak Grove.
What help do you need?
I think I can help answer most questions that you
or DPOA in Oak Grove might have.
I have had two Comets for about 4 years , and love them both.
I liked them so much that I now have a new Asteroid.
Same as the Comet just wider. So it I a little more versatile.
Go ahead and get one ordered. They are a great machine.
I use the Bosch 1617 Variable speed Router.
It requires the 3.5" mount (Porter Cable one). The mount of your choice comes with
the Comet when you order it.
I use Vectric's Aspire software and highly recommend it or V-Carve Pro.
Check out the "Introduction to CNC" download under in the support tab on Vectric's website.
