Router Table bit

Postby Tomlin » Thu Sep 03, 2015 7:21 am

Hey guys

I just started using a router table to take the sharp edge off of my panels so that I can minimize hand-softening.

The issue is that I need a bit like this:
but as you can see, they're not cheap.

The reason I need them that size is 1) the edge softening needs to be about 1/32" radius and 2) the bearing pilot needs to be able to fit into a narrow U-shaped area on many panels that is less than .4" wide.

Anyone know of a source of these type of bits in Canada or the USA? I'd even order from overseas if they were a little more affordable.

Not a lot of replies?? Use a router bit for wood and aluminum, either a 45 or roundover.
