A few years ago the college I worked for purchased a Comet that we needed to be portable. Here is the video that describes what I did. After more than a year of moving the Comet by 'folding' it I never noticed any issues with accuracy or twisting.

I built a table in one of the utility rooms downstairs and have it all set-up and running.

Clever adaptation, Rick. Fortunately where I teach the doors are always plenty wide for our CNCs to roll through without tilting. Big roll-up garage doors or double doors in most cases.
