Great news. I'll be ordering it with the rotary axis for our Meteor.

I picked up a new Meteor last Friday and have one of the new pucks, first one out the door I was told! Unfortunately I haven't got the new machine up and running yet,... hopefully this weekend. Thot it best to finish the table, wiring, and such before setting it up to run, .. probably never finish that if I start making sawdust first ...

Today I got my new Z-Puck installed and the new LinuxCNC configuration loaded and everything is working as it should! There are lots of new buttons on LinuxCNC and I've been finding out what they all do. So far I like it! I especially like the button to touchoff X,Y at the same time. The Z-Puck should give me quicker and more consistent Z-axis touchoffs. BTW, I also have the tool length sensor and adding its wires to the Z-Puck connector is very easy with only two wires needing to be soldered in place.

Here it is:

Lots of new buttons down the right side.

The Probotix Wiki explains the functions of each new button. Scroll to the bottom of the page in the link.

One additional change I like is Limit errors will now display the axis name and not the joint number.
