I purchased a Comet in 2011. For a many reasons and a tale too long to tell I've never opened the original box. I'm thinking about selling it and the person interested wants to know the specifications for the PC hardware. Like model, CPU speed, memory, hard drive, interface cards monitor or lcd .. etc
Does anyone know what the specifications were back then? I really don't want to break the seal on the box.
A place to talk about anything that doesn't fit anywhere else.

It was whatever mini-itx motherboard we were able to get at the time that gave the best performance with LinuxCNC. PCs change so rapidly I couldnt tell you any more than that. And that would be the point I would make with the buyer is that we hand picked those parts to guarantee performance. If it runs the machine the way we intended, then nothing else should matter.
