Here are a couple of new photos of the Corner Clamp Kit in use during the build of a Scent Article Box today.

I see a minor issue. You may want to somehow eliminate the dowel in the corner. If you have a larger or smaller box, there's no room for longer threaded rods. Your threaded rods need to be specifically cut for your clamping dimensions. Place the dowel either further out, closer in, or chop out the center of it to allow the rods to pass through.

Neat looking clamp set though.

You are right - you could make this more general purpose - by moving the dowel back (along the 45) just enough to allow the threaded rod to clear. That would be a good improvement that would allow the rod to extend past the dowel any arbitrary amount.

Interesting…
For me - the profile size constraint came from our process.
We'll cut a few box sets, do the glue-up, and put them up on a shelf to let them dry. As time allows, or when needed - we'll pull one down for finishing. While they are on the shelf – they are still in the clamps.

So the limiting factor on the profile size (added to the size of the box) was the height between of the shelfs. ;-)
