Latest Project

I made this sign/plaque as a door prize for my metal detecting club. It's cut from MDF and sprayed with textured paint.

Is that the "stone fleck" paint I see in Wally World in the spray can? Nice sign, I'm thinking of trying now.

Yes, it's the Rust-Oleum Gray Stone textured paint. It was the effect that I was going for. However, it's really thick and will cover small details and fill in the V carved lettering.

Here is a simple sign I made for my daughter. Gray stain over rough cedar.
