Who said it couldn't be done

Postby HANNAH024 » Sat Mar 19, 2016 10:01 pm

I wish people would stop saying that I can't do precise complicated jobs on my little inexpensive Comet.
I was told that you had to have at least a 100.000 dollar CNC machine to make pistol grips.
OK So I like a challenge even though I'm old and retired.
Here is a Colt 1911 model automatic with the very first of several designs that will soon be available from Macon Gunstocks.com

And the machine salesman said it couldn't be done on one of the inexpensive machines like the Probotix CNC that I talked
Macon Gunstocks into buying. What do you think?

Nice job! Just getting rolling with my Asteroid....but so far it has performed as well or better than many much more expensive machines I have been around.

Looks like it was made on a $100k or better machine! What most don't know is that every model that Probotix sells CAN be worth $100k when put in the hands of a talented craftsman.

Very nicely done!

Excelent job HANNAH024.

Probotix machines are very precise even on small details like the ones in the grip.

Love it
Would you be able to incorporate a military logo in a grip that small?
