A new Depot for my Large Scale Train Layout. Cut out on my Probotix X90 using .060 and .125 inch styrene sheet and a 1/32 inch bit running at 7500 rpm. The windows are resin castings with the mold masters assembled with strip styrene. I love styrene, best material ever for making outside train buildings. Virtually indestructible, builds with model airplane glue and takes rattle can paint really well.
Krylon and Rustoleum Rattle Spray cans. Flats and Satins. Works great on styrene but I'm not sure about styrofoam. I do buy those large green foam insulation sheets from Lowes and use them as a base for all my buildings. They are spray painted with the same paint to get a 'concrete' sort of look and they do ok. However, I've tried it on the 'beaded' styrofoam and it eats it up pretty badly.
