Stuck E-STOP

Postby Eventide » Sun Mar 13, 2016 12:23 pm

I can get my meteor out of e-stop. The switch is open/pulled out. The red X e-stop button doesn't activate by mouse. I got an error message said cannot do task while machine is in e-stop.

Any thoughts? Probably something simple but I can't seem to figure it out.

Do you have the new Unity Controller?
If so make sure the E-stop cable is plugged in securely in the back of the controller.
Make sure the E-stop button is rotated so it pops out. close it and then pop it out again.
Press the F1 key on the keyboard.
If your machine is still in E-stop, I'm thinking that you probably have a bad connection in the E-stop switch or the cable connector for the E-stop where it plugs into the back of the controller.
Hope this helps.
It is what it is!
Have a great day.

I had trouble with me e-stop switch and when I took it apart the wires were loose where they clamp in. Might be worth a shop to pop the cover off and have a look. Nothing special in it.
Probotix Meteor - :D 8-)

Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...
